Hi! I am Merel van den Burg  a passionate professional in all I do. The floral industry is in my heart.

As a florist and business owner who has been in the floral industry for over 30 years, I have a wealth of experience, and I have decided I want to start sharing that with you.

I have gained experience in Germany and the Netherlands, and I have a lot of experience with big flower arrangements and decorating stands for fairs, events, and big hotels. I have had a shop for several years, but as the event work became more and more, I closed the shop and started working from a big unit. Therefore, I have always been in contact with direct purchasing and growers to source flowers. I have a wealth of experience in every end of the floral industry.

For several years, I have also done styled photoshoots for breeders and growers, promoting floral products like flowers and plants. Promoting flowers and greens through images is a very creative process. I love marketing, and I maintain social media for my own company and some growers and florist shops. It's very inspiring work, and I learn a lot doing it. I am always driven and passionate about the floral profession. I love it!

My heart is with the flower world and everything that goes with it. It's fast, always changing, in action, and you need to be able to switch constantly. In our industry, things cannot wait until the next day; the job always needs to be done. So you have to be solution-oriented, and that's me. I like that. I like the mentality of growers, florists, and everything that goes with it. I can't imagine work without flowers. It's a passion you don't let go of.

Over the years, I've gotten to know many people in this industry, and I'm proud of that.
